Ms. Wanyi Zhang
Ballet Teacher
With over 20 years of immersion in the dance field, Ms. Ava Zhang is a ballet instructor who combines an international educational background with strong professional expertise.
Ms. Zhang holds a Master’s degree in Dance from Raffles Music College (Singapore), where she received systematic training in contemporary international dance pedagogy and cross-cultural artistic integration. She completed her undergraduate studies at Hainan University and pursued advanced professional training at the Beijing Dance Academy. Proficient in both classical ballet and contemporary dance techniques, she skillfully integrates Eastern and Western artistic aesthetics into her teaching practice.
Beginning her dance training at the age of four and entering Shaoxing Art School for professional education at twelve, Ms. Zhang has built a solid professional foundation in dance. She has participated in numerous large-scale professional performances, including the original contemporary dance theatre production AMONGST staged at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay in Singapore, as well as appearances on China Central Television (CCTV).
Her performance experience also includes award-winning works such as We Keep Moving Forward, which received a First Prize at the Hainan Provincial University Students’ Arts Performance Competition, participation in the stage production Glory of Qiongya, honored with the Hainan “Five-One Project” Award, and involvement in the choreography of televised cultural galas in Hainan.
