Ms. Qin Wei
Ballet Teacher

Ms. Wei started her training at Shanghai Far East Ballet Academy. She was an outstanding student, receiving first-class scholarships for three consecutive years. After graduating she was recommended by the Shanghai Education Bureau to take on a designated Beijing Ballet Company Training Centre course at Northwest Minzu University, graduating with a Diploma in Dance. She then went on to complete a Bachelors degree at the Jilin Art Institute, majoring in dance. She also holds a Beijing Dance Teacher Qualification Certificate and a Shanghai Dancers Association Teacher Qualification Certificate.

Ms. Wei was recommended by the Shanghai Municipal Government as a special talent and joined the Shanghai Far East Ballet School as a teacher. There she worked under the guidance of foreign expert Ms. Irina from St. Petersburg, China’s first White-Haired Girl principal dancer Shi Zhongqin and Beijing Dance Academy Professor Wang Runzhang. Ms. Wei trained a large number of students, many of whom competed in competitions with strong results.
