Ms. Jillian Lee
Ballet Teacher
Ms. Jillian began her dance journey at the age of 7 and has since completed the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus up to the Advanced level. A committed member of Yan Ballet Academy for over six years, she has trained intensively under the mentorship of Ms. Yan and Ms. Emily through the YBA Teacher Programme. She has also been an active member of the school’s prestigious Elite Programme, representing the academy at numerous national and international competitions.
With over 12 years of dance training, Ms. Jillian brings a strong foundation across a wide range of genres including contemporary, lyrical, jazz, acrobatics, gymnastics, and Chinese dance. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Dance at the renowned Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), where she continues to hone her artistic and pedagogical skills. Ms. Jillian is also a dancer for Singapore Youth Ballet Company.
As a teacher, Ms. Jillian is known for her warm and patient approach, and her ability to connect with young dancers. She is passionate about nurturing confidence and creativity in her students, and is committed to creating a positive and inspiring learning environment.
Ms. Jillian has earned multiple accolades in dance competitions, particularly in the Contemporary Duet category, where she has achieved multiple Gold awards since 2021. Her competitive highlights include:
- 1st Place – Asian Elite Dance Competition
- Gold Award – Hong Kong Challenge Cup
- Gold Award – Singapore International Dance Festival
- 2nd Place – Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Semi-Finals, Indonesia
- 3rd Place – International Dance Talent Competition, Italy
- 3rd Place – Get The Beat International, Singapore
- Qualified Finalist – Youth America Grand Prix Finals, New York
Ms. Jillian brings to her teaching not only technical skill and artistic depth, but also a sincere dedication to guiding the next generation of dancers toward their own successes.
