Competition Program
Yan Ballet Academy’s Competition Program has produced dancers who have set a number of historical records in the world’s top ballet competitions for Singapore. For example, the first Singaporean to win Best Performance Award in the Asian Grand Prix, the first Singaporean to qualify and participate in Prix De Lausanne International Ballet Competition in Switzerland and multiple Top 3 placements in Youth America Grand Prix, both classical and contemporary categories. YBA students have achieved 600+ Top 3 awards, including 263 gold awards.
YBA provides world-class training & choreography for competing on stage in national and international dance competitions. YBA has Soloist, Duo, Trio and Group programs for those interested. Read more below on how to apply!
Soloist, Duo and Trio
Our Soloist, Duo and Trio students train through weekly private classes with our talented teachers. Soloists train twice per week, in addition to their regular group classes. Duo and Trio train once per week. If you are interested in our private class programs, please call or WhatsApp us at 65145175, we will then arrange a trial class and assessment.
Group Competition
Teams of 4 or more form the basis of our group competition training. Groups train once per week, in addition to their regular classes.
