Ms. Cao Yang
Co-Founder & Ballet/Contemporary Teacher

Ms. Cao graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy (BDA) with a Bachelor’s degree, specializing in Education. After graduating, Ms. Cao was a lead performer for the BDA Youth Dance Company and the China Central Dance Troupe.

In 1997, Ms. Cao was invited by Singapore’s Crestar Education Group to work in Singapore. In 2010, she became the principal of the Crestar Dance School. Ms. Cao has extensive experience teaching curriculums from Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD).

Ms. Cao was a lead performer for the BDA Youth Dance Company and the China Central Dance Troupe. In 1991, she won the Excellent Performance Award in the 3rd Taoli World Dance Competition. In 1993, she represented China in the Belarusian Art Festival and won the highest award for collective art achievement. In 1996, Ms. Cao was one of the top ten performers examined by the Chinese Ministry of Culture. During the period, she has represented China on many occasions.

In 2015, Ms. Cao founded “Ballet Century” in Shanghai, China. A large number of talents have been trained since then, and many of its students have won awards in domestic and international dance competitions.
