Ms. Suellen de Villiers
Ms. Suellen has 25 Years teaching experience in Classical Ballet. She has received numerous awards for her dance choreographies for competitions internationally and regionally – solo, duet, trio and troupe work (CSTD, Get the Beat, Asian Grand Prix, Hong Kong Challenge Cup). Her students have progressed to International Ballet schools and in dance companies in Spain.
She is a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Registered Teacher and Tutor, Practical Supervisor & Mentor Advisor for the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) for RAD. Ms. Suellen has extensive experience in the preparation of students for RAD examinations.
Ms. Suellen is a past student of the National School of the Arts in South Africa, where she graduated as a Dance Major, performing in extensive repertoire and choreographies for local and international choreographers such as Sonya Mayo and Joyce Myroff.
She was awarded for classical ballet and Spanish dance on numerous dance platforms within South Africa and the proud recipient of the RAD and Mercedes Molina Bursaries.
